About the Project

Starlit Press is an independent literary imprint specialising in intelligent speculative fiction — publishing work that explores ideas, atmosphere, and meaning rather than spectacle.

The challenge was to create a brand identity that avoids the visual clichés of mainstream sci-fi, instead positioning the imprint within a more restrained, editorial space.

The solution is a minimal, concept-led identity system built around an abstract geometric mark — designed to suggest illumination, transition, and insight without relying on literal imagery.

The result is a scalable, production-ready brand that works across book covers, spines, and digital formats while maintaining a clear and distinctive presence.
